I was there when it was 7.99. I like the longevity that I have.
I still think Comcast is the devil and ten dollars is actually worth what Netflix’s offers.
I actually enjoy paying a bill for digital entertainment.
I have patience. So if I don’t see if at the movie theater I’ll be seeing the movie here eventually.
Who else has Bright with Will Smith?
How do you feel about this?
Living in Detroit, you have to do what you can to protect yourself without breaking the bank. Having security is one of the number one ways I’ve found to keep people I don’t want out of my home and stealing my things. There’s also the barbed wire, vicious dog, floor traps, moats of alligators and the labyrinth home with designed as well. (That’s a whole ‘nother post).
I’d also like to note at no time is Blink paying me to say anything. I found this system and I liked it. I really liked it and I wanted others to know about it.
In one year of living in Detroit, I had been robbed over five times. It was crazy and depressing, but I knew I had to get on top of securing my house or find a better way to catch the crooks who were robbing me blind.
First, I got the ADT signs., until I could afford the service. (I pay about $40 a month without the camera system.)
I did want to have camera’s but using ADT is about $60 a month.Yet it’s only for three cameras and cost goes up if you want more cameras. How do you find a way not to pay?
The Beau discovered this Blink system because he just has this ability to stumble across tech that’s awesome.
You get three cameras and a box. Additional cameras can be added without any cost. You hook it up the box to your Internet, download the Blink app and then sync the cameras to the system.
That easy. It took the Beau to install the cameras that come with a light and microphone (so it records in the dark and captures sound) about thirty minutes. We talked about the vulnerable places in the house we needed to see. the basement window, by the side and the hallway inside of the house. And we wanted to be able to control these without having to rely on ADT.
Clear digital pictures house in 30-second increments on the system and there’s no monthly fee!
Yes! No monthly fee. Once you buy the system, you are using the app for life. That’s it!
For two hundred and fifty dollars that’s not bad at all!
I added an additional back up battery to our Internet so if our power goes out, the Internet will work for about 16 hours. ADT gives you a backup battery system too for a couple of days.
Our next step is to add a generator to the house… a very quiet generator!
All in all, we’re happy with the Blink system. It’s easy to install, cost effective and gives you that added security of “I got you on camera!” #MotownMoms, you should definitely look into it.
How important is security to you? What security system are you thinking about trying? Have tried?
