.@NAACP Invites Detroit and Surrounding Cities Residents to 110th National Convention Events taking place July 20 to 24 in Detroit, Michigan @DETROITNAACP ‏

Hello, my name is Marc Banks and as the National Press Secretary for the NAACP, I want to personally invite you to attend the NAACP’s 110th National Convention in Detroit.

I’m excited to share a preview of the exciting speakers and events for the 110th Annual NAACP National Convention taking place July 20 to 24 in Detroit, Michigan. The leading conference on issues impacting the African American community, the NAACP Annual Convention brings together over 10,000 grassroots organizers, policymakers and business and faith leaders for a dynamic series of forums, panels to set the policy priorities to fight against the threats to hard-fought victories.

Under the theme, When We Fight, We Win, this year’s convening will provide opportunities for economic advancement and promote solutions to issues such as police brutality, increasing hate crimes, #LivingWhileBlack, voter suppression, and partisan gerrymandering.

Given the current political and social climate, it is even more important for your audience to have access to these critical conversations, and to the newsmakers.
