Hello Camp Africa Parents!
The Charles H. Wright Museum is excited to announce the 2019 SUMMER Camp Africaprogram!
Camp Africa is a free week-long day camp open to children ages 7 – 12, featuring activities centered around science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Campers will be able to explore the wonders of African American history and culture while learning key core subjects to help them grow as learners.
Camp Africa Summer will be held in five sessions, each lasting for one (1) week from July 8 – August 9, 2019, 8 AM – 3 PM daily.
Are there minimum age requirements to enroll in Camp Africa Summer?
Each camper must be at least seven (7) years old, and no older than twelve (12) years old to participate.
Will there be food provided?
Yes, campers will receive lunch. Due to serious food allergies, peanut products (whole peanuts, peanut butter, etc.) are not permitted on the premises.
Does registration cover all days of the program?
Registration covers the week that you have registered for only. Campers will not be admitted into additional sessions of Camp Africa Summer.
