Scholl will soon be out in #Detroit… but hunger won’t | Support #DRMM #motownmom @DetroitRescue

Dear Sylvia,

In a few weeks, school will break for summer. For many families, this is the start of vacations and family adventures. But for many of the children and youth in your community, the end of school is the beginning of hunger

This is a critical need that we know is coming, and your generous help is needed to ensure vulnerable boys and girls have the food and support they need through the summer months.

Without you and me in their corner, the poorest kids in our community simply won’t get enough to eat when school is out. Their normal meals aren’t available! So they, and their desperate parents, will turn to Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) for meals, help, and hope.We can’t possibly prepare for this important need without you. Summer can be a difficult time for the Mission, because giving drops when many of our supporters are away on vacation…

Please make a gift now to raise the $789,750 needed to ensure every hungry, hurting soul who comes through the Mission doors will receive the meals, shelter, and other life-changing help they need this summer.

Thank you for giving generously to provide the meals and emergency services that will keep families and hungry kids fed and safe over summer!

May God bless you,
