Everything Detroit celebrates its One Year Anniversary on Detroit Day with “We are the D” T-shirts

Detroit, MI— On Detroit Day 2016, Everything Detroit opened its doors to the public with success.  Now on Detroit Day, March 13, 2017 we are proud to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and new location.  To celebrate this year’s Detroit Day and our 1 year anniversary we are introducing the “313 We Are the D” Shirts.

For the past 6 years, Detroit Day, has celebrated the rich history of our great city.  The 313Dlove movement began on March 13, 2012 with a tweet and the hashtag #313Dlove-a hashtag that went on to trend worldwide as people from around the globe shared their love for the City of Detroit. Since then #313Dlove has continued to trend every year on March 13, the date that matches the city’s famous area code.  We are proud to share this celebrated day as Everything Detroit Anniversary.

Let’s continue to motivate the city and show our support for the neighborhoods of Detroit. With this motivation, we are overjoyed to announce the “313 We Are the D” t-shirts.  The shirt has all the neighborhoods of Detroit graphically designed to create the city’s well known symbol, the Old English D. The shirts are available for $20.00 online and at the Everything Detroit store located 19566 Grand River Ave. in the Grandmont Rosedale Area. “We are excited about our anniversary and being a cultural hub for Detroit, experiencing Detroit’s movement and the excitement throughout the city” said Everything Detroit owner, Katrina Brown.

Everything Detroit is the home to over 30 entrepreneurs and is an original idea of our owner Katrina Brown.  With the success of so many entrepreneurs and Detroit resurgence we must continue to commemorate Detroit Day.
